IVF Cycle Three - Fresh Start

It's been a few stressful days. I've been waiting for AF to show up in full force and she kept teasing me with spotting. It was difficult to sleep thinking will it show up, will we have the opportunity to try one more time. Every time I felt my emotions taking over control I have to stop and remind myself God is in control, I need to be filled with his peace. 365 times in God's word he tells us to Fear Not so I will not fear but trust that he has a plan. Some days are easier than others to do so but I figure why would I need God's strength if I could do it on my own.

Last night AF started to flow heavier so I was able to call today to schedule a Day 2 apt. I find such irony in this as we all hate to see AF show up till we need to do another cycle and it's then all we can think about.

I go in Wed. at 10am. The plan is to do one last fresh IVF cycle. I will get blood done, u/s and mock transfer (so got to have a full bladder hate that procedure) It will be a little weird this time as being Day 2 I am still bleeding. Dr. wanted to start the cycle earlier this time just to do things different in hopes it will be better. The main concern is will I have any good quality eggs this round and will they be mature at ER time. I would appreciate your prayers.

I am a little nervous as I feel that this time either it's going to be 3xthe charm or 3x and we are out. With our insurance changing next year and only having so much more lifetime max for IF we are running out of options. I am thankful we can try again and prayerful this time will be it.

Prayer: God I thank You Oh God. You are My God that brings me out that carries me through, that protects me. that provides for me. What do I have to complain about ?? Nothing !!! What do I have to Praise about Everything !!! because You Oh God has provided for me Again and again. Oh Praise Your Sweet name there is no other name that I know to call upon that will help me. Nobody but You God.

Keep holding on to HOPE ...
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Devotion on Hope

What exactly is hope?  Is it positive thinking?  Is it the same as faith?  From a Biblical standpoint, hope is something certain, as of yet unrealized.    It is something you look forward to with certainty, yet you have not yet attained.  It is much like a reservation in a restaurant.  You get dressed for dinner, drive to the restaurant, walk in the door and tell the host or hostess your name, fully expecting that a table will be ready for you at the appointed time.  You expect that the dinner you request will be prepared and served and your hunger will be satisfied.  You have no doubt or reason to believe that this chain of events will not be carried out as planned.  Such is hope!

Has infertility taken your hope away?  No test is too difficult, no financial setback too great if you have the hope of conceiving, but if you feel hopeless in your quest for a baby, despair can set in and it is easy to throw your hands up and give in.

Do you realize God is your partner in hope?  The struggle you face with infertility may cause you to question whether God is on your side or if He has forgotten you.  Does He care if I conceive?  Does He care if I am successful in other areas of my life?  If you want to know about God and how He feels about you, turn to His Word!  Dive in to the pages of the book He wrote about Himself!  See what He has to say about Himself and about you.  See what He has to say about hope.

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.  Romans 15:4

Remember that Scripture is a source of great encouragement for you.  God has given you His word to encourage you and give you hope!  Read His word and find encouragement to help you with your battle with infertility!

'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11
